The physical inventory amount or the financial inventory value is incorrect in Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0

Hi All,

While I run default report for stock valuation on hand inventory its giving wrong valuation. quantity is showing correct but value of inventory is showing -ve amount which is impossible. I tried to solve this issue as per Microsoft knowledge base but could not succeed. Even I tried to check and run data consistency.

Any help much appreciated…

  1. Have you run the inventory close to update cost prices?

  2. You need to analyse the cost transactions and work it out I am afraid to find out what has happened.

I run report from below path…

Inventory Management >> Reports >> Status >> Physical Inventory >> Physical Inventory by inventory Dimension

Could you please give me path from where I can get report as mentioned below by.

Inventory Management - Periodic. It is not a report it is a process to push all known costs through the system. Talk to your accounts department or an accounts consultant.
