what do you mean by printing same dimensions in a single line ? How can say 10 saleslines of them 3 having same dimensions will print in one line ? It needs 3 lines to print isn’t it ?

Thanks for your reply Mr. Nash
Yeah you are right… I want to print that three same dimensions in to a single line

I still can’t get why you are trying to do that

Say

SalesLine1-Item1-Dim1
SalesLine2-Item2-Dim1
SalesLine3-Item3-Dim1
SalesLine4-Item4-Dim2
SalesLine5-Item5-Dim3
SalesLine6-Item6-Dim3
SalesLine7-Item7-Dim4
SalesLine8-Item8-Dim5

How do you want this to be printed ?

No not like that…

for ex:

Item id itemname (size length configuration) Qty sales price Total

1 test 0001 10 5 50

2 test1 0005 2 50 100

1 test 0001 5 5 25

1 test 0002 2 7 14

right now am getting the report like that, but my actually i need is

Item id itemname (size length configuration) Qty sales price Total

1 test 0001 15 5 75

2 test1 0005 2 50 100

1 test 0002 2 7 14

i want to print the item no and the dimensions which are same in to a single line…

this is my requirement… can you understand my requirement now…

thanks,

regards,

Ameen

You can sort by dimension id asc or desc, print the section only if the dimension changes, till the dimension is same you have to add up the quantities. That would be the logic you can typically use.
