We have a NAV 2009 server and a SQL server 2008 installed, the NAV is taking a lot of time to startup and the performance is way below par.Currently a number of ERP services are running in the NAV. Please suggest a step-by-step solution to optimize the server. It would also be a great help if you could tell us how to disable the “Always Rowlock” option and a systematic approach to minimize the blocks/deadlocks which are notified by the SQL Profiler.
