Shopfloor Calendar - Problem with Shifts

Hi all, Did anyone try to setup several shift codes on the same calendar and than calculate work or machine center calendar as described in the Navision Manufacturing training documentation. There is a problem (‘redundancy error’) when using multiple shifts calendar this way. I’m using Navision Attain 3.01A Thanx for any help

Dear Mr. Valdeus, This is my experience in Nav. Mfg. 2.6f. when multiple shifts are used. 1. Yes, we get problem when calculating calendar for all Work Centres at one go. 2. But we do not get redundancy when calculating calendar for all Machine Centres at one go. 3. For Work Centres to avoid redundancy error you should calculate calendar for Work Centre one by one. This way you can manage this problem. However this problem to be fixed. R. Sunder Rao ERP Project Manager (Navision Financials)

Hi Guys, It is true this redundancy problem or error message does not appear when you run the function Caculate Calendar for all workcenters together. But if you run the batch job per Work center then you will not get the redundancy error. One of those un-explained errors in Navision. Best regards, Prashanth NCFC, NCMC, NCSD prashycool@yahoo.com

Thank you for your help, however in Navision Attain 3.01 the problem still was not solved so we overcome it by using ONE single shift per one calendar Vladimir, Implementation Consultant
