Setting up default location for finished orders

Hi Guys,

I would like to setup NAV 4.0 so that when a production order changes status to finished the location/default location changes to a particular location. Or on the other hand how do I specify a default location for a production order so that every new production order always has a specific location?

Hi Chris,

You will have to do a small bit of customization. There is a “Components at Location” default on the manufacturing setup which defaults in for consumption lines. You could put in a new field for the default output location and populate on creating the production order.
