hello,

i get an error sayin "root elelent is missing " when trying to send a sms from dynamics ax 09 using a web service.

suggest remedies please…

Hi,

Usually these type of error messages usually indicate the XML file is not well formed. Can you post your XML file or SOAP message?

Hi Pradeep,

AFAIK there is no standard functionality in DAX 2009 for sending SMS. So I guess you have written custom code. Can you please post your code here?

Hi ,

This is Maria from Chennai,TN. I’m trying to send SMS from Ax. here i’m calling the below webservice http://www.spiritssoft.com/webservice/sendway2sms.asmx . This is working fine in ASP.net but when trying from Ax, it is giving the error Root element is missing.

Can u pls advise me to resolve this error.
