Why Navision cannot send the notifications (containing password) for the commerce portal. I have configured outlook express and I am certain that it works as I have sent mails manually. I have also log on on the nas and syncronisation using the domain/username login. occasionally when I reboot the server, I saw some notifications in my outbox but that doesn’t always work… Then what’s the problem please? The navision version is 3.60 I have noticed that after having created passwords for the users of the commerce portal, I must restart the Navision application server service and then all the notifications will be in my outbox.
YES, all kinds of e-mail notifications only go into the Outbox AFTER Navision Application Server is restarted. I’m using Navision 3.10A and have set the “Log On As” user of the NAS service to be the one that has the Outlook Express profile. Still have no clue why this happens though. Just wanna confirm the problem.
Hi, i have had the same problem. my solution was to change the Codeunit 6220 - Mail Handler. i have replaced the “‘CP Timer’.cCountDown” with the “‘Navision Timer 1.0’.Timer” Control.
