Scrolling in a list

Hi, We have run into a little problem with list forms. When using the scroll bar to scroll up or down in a list, Navision also automatically changes the selected row for you. For some of our screens this is highly undesirable because of performance issues. Is there a way to stop it from doing this, i.e. to only select the new row when you click on it? Many thanks Meint

Huh, how would he help? Is he a friend of Danger Mouse? I am trying to get the same behaviour as most other Windows applications (e.g. Excel), where - when you scroll vertically - the cursor position does not move and the row selection stays the same… Meint

It can’t be done and even if it could, I don’t see how this would have any bearing on performance.

The cursor position stays on the row your cursor was on (not what’s displaying), so if you’re having the cursor (the field active) three rows after the visible area when moving up and down it will center it on the active control… so it will move the visible area. The best way: click on a row that’s on the visible area before scrolling…
