Scrollbar on subform

Hi Just a quick question. I have a subform which is rather big, so it’s only possible to see it entirely in fullscreen. Is there any way of creating some scrollbars on the subform, when the controlling window isn’t big enough to accomodate the entire subform…? Thanks Henrik Andresen

Navision places Scroll Bars (Horizontal) by default anytime all of the fields will not fit on the form. If you can’t see them, try increasing the Height of the Subform control. Navision does not have “real” Vertical scroll bars. You have a button to scroll one record at a time up or down. The other button is basically a page up, page down control. I’m afraid that didn’t help. The subform control only covers parts it shouldn’t, and the form placed in the subform is already too big. Henrik Andresen

Go to the form that is contained in the subform. Write down the Height and Width. Go to the form with the subform and make the subform’s height and width = to what you have written down. Bill Benefiel Manager of Information Systems Overhead Door Company billb@ohdindy.com (317) 842-7444 ext 117

if the subform is keeping its size when ‘downsizing’ the controlling windows, you should set the SubForm properties HorzGlue and VertGlue to TRUE (on the subform in the controlling window) Look at Subform properties in form 43 for an example Arve

The subform and the subform control should both be the same size and should generally be as small as possible. The user can enlarge the form if the glue is set right. see the subforms on the order form to see how it should work. Paul Baxter
