My company is running business on SAP R/3 (FI, CO, MM, SD and one self developed module). Our subsidiaries are running business on Dynamics AX (ongoing ERP implementation). There are needs for one way communication between SAP and AX (SAP supposes to send data to AX).
From other side, we made decision to implement umbrella solution for reporting – Microsoft BI based on MS Sharepoint 2007 and Proclarity.
After many consultations with ERP consultants, we still have open issue – how to overtake data from SAP database (MS SQL) into separate databases for AX and BI purposes? SAP database tables are very difficult to recognize (there is more than 60.000 tables).
Do you have any proper idea about above matter?
