I want to create a form which is similar to sales quote subform.like i want to display the values related to the selected item type in the No. textbox next to it. i cannot understand the code which is given in that form. can u explain or provide different code to display the no.s based on item type.
why dont you do save as on Sales Order Subform?
what code you didnt understand in that form?

i am unable to understand how the no. field is automatically updated with the lookup table whenever any type is selected.i mean where that code is written in that form for updating.
