# Sales Invoice Line Dim values are not coping to Cust. Ledger entries

Hi All,

I created a Sales Invoice without any dimension in header. Then add glob dim 1, glob dim 2 and shtcut dim 3 into invoice line and posted the document. When i check cust. ledger entry i cannot find any dim value in cust. ledger record. but anyway those dim were copied into G/L entry record.

Is there any way to copy Sales invoice Dim values into customer ledger entries?

Adding dimensions to a document line means that those dimensions will be copied only on entries strictly related to that line (in other words just on the G/L entries with Income Statement accont and VAT account, if existing, generated).

In order to have dimensions evaluated on Customer Ledger Entry you need to operate on document header.
