# Role Tailored Report Development

Hi Guys,

i just wanna ask if it is necessary to create first the classic report in Nav, before I can create a report layout in role tailored? Is there another way/process to redirect the creation of the report in role tailored with out the creation in classic design?

In Nav 2009 it is not possible .We need to create classic report first and then only RDLC report as dataset name has been set in Classic report.
