Restrict Dimension value in lookup

Hi friends ,

I want to restrict the dimension value in lookup. I know that there is Suspended checkbox is there , but due to some customization I cannot use this.

Also i have tried to use Active from and Active to , but it is not working in my case.

So I want to add one checkbox after suspended , whose check uncheck will restrict the lookup value where ever this dimension is used.

Please suggest where i have to write code for this operation, i tried but it is completely different from ax2009.

Are you talking about default dimensions (such as on sales orders) or ledger dimensions (such as in ledger journals)?

I want to restrict that based on the new checkbox.

You didn’t answer my question. Discussing how to filter default dimensions if you want to filter ledger dimensions (and vice versa) would be a waste of time.
