Reserved From Where

Hi All

I would like to add a column in sales line to show from where the sales line reserved.Whether the sales line is reserved from Purchase order or from Transfer order or from stock.is it possible because there is no colum in reservstion entry table to track this.

Don’t do that!

Imagine the following scenario : you’ve got 15 PCS on your Sales Order, and 5 PCS are reserved on stock and 10 are reserved on PO.

What are you doing to show in your “Reserved from” single field ?

Just get the user to click on the “Reserved Quantity” field that’s going to show the “Where From”

The data type of the field is text so that i can conacatinate like This Stock +, + PO so that the field will Show Stock ,Po

I totally agree with Tarek. If it’s always one to one like 15 ordered + 15 reserved from one source…ok
But in real life where you might have some in inventory + some on PO + some on transfer Orders, your field will be useless. You should add a form linked to your field so that if you have more than one source the drill down would call up that form with all details.

At the end of the line, if I get it right, you want to see the Reservation lines + the source document right? Why not link that field to the Reservation Entries page? (Page 497).
