After we run the MRP and launch the Requisition Worksheets the action messages only go out 1 week and the message typically states ‘New’ or ‘Cancel’ and thats it. What do I need to do in order to receive all the action messages, weekly bucketed throughout the entire planning horizon. Standard APICS protocol…please help this is very fustrating.
When you run the MRP “calculate regenerative plan”, are you putting an end date in that is only 1 week in the future?
If not, and you have a start date perhaps of 01/01/12 and an end date of 31/12/12, then I would not expect to only see 1 week’s worth of messages.
