Report showing empty when there is no transaction in the date range given.. either the opening exist yet report showing empty.

Hi all,

it’s the query related to report designing.

as i am creating a printable report and i have taken two data sources such as inventTable as a Parent DataSource and InventTable as a Child Data Source. and in the report at dialog i am giving the date filter.

in the body of inventTrans i am printing the Opening, Issue, Receipt, Closing of item and if the transaction in the InventTrans for that date filter exist then the report runs well. but when there is no transaction in InventTrans for that Date range then report not run either there is opening and closing of item yet reports shows empty.

does anybody tell me how to print only the opening from the table inventTrans when there is no transaction exists in the date range i have given.
