Hi Scout, why not change the field caption through the field properties…? Is there something specific you want to do through the usage of a codeunit for this issue…?

I’m not too sure but maybe you are looking for **Caption Classes**. Look it up in the C/SIDE Reference Guide available from the Help menu.

Captions are not available to modify during runtime, at least there is no C/SIDE function available to do so. You might use Caption Classes as Nelson suggests, or instead using normal textboxes that you fill with the necessary caption texts that you want to show, when opening the respective form. A little bit cumbersome if there are a lot of fields where these texts should show up, but from my point of view easier to modify and handle than customizing C1 and the Caption Class functions… Saludos Nils

Have heard you can do it by modifying Codeunit 1. Not sure exactly how though.

What you’ve heard about is **Caption Classes**. Modifying Codeunit 1 is part of the process.
