I need to rename about 100 employees in Nav 3.6. Where does the rename function get the idea of what tables to look through to rename employee number? We have many G/L entries and the rename function starts there. We have no employee numbers in the G/L entry table. I can see that there was a conditional relationship to Source No. I tried removing that, but it still looks through the G/L Entry table. How can I keep the rename function from searching(slowly) throught the G/L Entry table?
NAV is looking at the table relation property to rename - but I guess you’ve already figured that out.
