Remove ID Tool - continuous loop

Hello,

I am trying to migrate from NAV 5.0 SP1(with German objects) to 2009 SP1(with German objects). I am having a problem with remove ID tool. The tool seems to go into a continuous loop, when I stop it after half an hour or so, the file that the remove ID tool has created (objects without IDs) is significantly smaller than the original file with IDs. When I checked the file without IDs manually, some of the objects are missing at the end of the file.I do not know if the file is too large for the tool to handle (the txt filtextith IDs is about 90Mb)

Has anyone come across the same problem before? If anyone could give me some hints to remove IDs, I will really appreciate it.

Hi Suresh,

try to export the objects without XML-Ports, as far as I remember the remove ID tool must work then.
