Dear All,

I have a query regarding purchase journal,how to post the purchase journal and what is the application of purchase journal in ax 2009.

Purchase journal is a draft which will not have any transactions and will not effect the inventory onhand.

If you need a purchase order to be reviewed before it actually creates a transaction, then make use of the purchase journal.

After review you can convert this into a purchase order(you cannot post a purchase order of type journal). Manually change the purchase type in purchase order and then post it…
