Regarding Costing Method In Config Template for Item

Dear Experts

I have created a Configuration Template for Item Table. In the line below i have take all the fields. Now in the line level, when I put the value “Average” in the costing method field, it gives the following error.

"You can not change costing method because there is at least one outstanding purchase quote

that include this item."

I am not able to find out, for which item this error is being shown. Please help !

Please check in table 39 Purchase Line for any records with Document Type = Quote, you should be able to find the items raising the error.

You have to go to ILE and check for open entries for Item you are changing the cost…
