Hello,

I have just joined a company as IT Director that plans to consolidate it’s Navision Attain databases and upgrade to Dynamics NAV 5.0. I know very little baout this system having come from SAP and JDE sites.

Microsoft push NAV as the system for smaller numbers of users and AX for SME to large corporations. Is this correct? If so, can someone be so kind as to give me a guidline as to maximum number of users I should consider allowing onto a NAV system?

That depends on what kind of user profiles you have and the amount of transactions they generate. Is it heavy users or users that logs in once or twice a day for a short period of time? You will get better answers to your question if you describe your situation and needs.
