Read DBF file in AX 2009

Hi,

I’m trying to read a .dbf file in AX and save a row from the .dbf file to a string. How do you do it?

is this even possible? i’ve been searching the internet for answers but I can’t get any information on reading a .dbf file using X++.

Found a workaround on how to read DBF file in AX. Apparently, the DBF file can be opened in Excel, so I just opened the file in Excel and read its contents in AX.
