Looking for an explanation on how the “Raw material date” is calculated? The date never seems to match the outcome we expected to get. What settings and/or factors affect the date?
We use Operations scheduling in a Discrete environment, typically scheduling Backward from delivery date or Forward from scheduling date with Finite capacity and Finite material. If the Raw material date is off from the planners perspective, we re-reschedule without Finite material.
