I want to use warehouse & batch number as inventory dimension.In invntory dimensions both batch number & warehouse is set as “primary stocking”…can some body explain with some examples what will happen if …
In sales order ;I use Automatic reservation + following case:-
1)Provide no inventory dimensions on sales order line & no default warehouse on item master(Question:what are the rules that system will follow for reservation?)
2)provide only warehouse on sale order line (Question would it reserve batches on FIFO basis?..what are the rules that system will follow for reservation?)
2)Provide warehouse & batch number on sales order(Question:what are the rules that system will follow for reservation?)
4)What would be the rules for re-reservation in case of change in warehouse and/or batch number
5)If we want automatic reservation on FIFO basis …then what would be correct setting of
“Primary stocking” in inventory dimension on warehouse & batch number line ?..anything else required to be set up for automatic reservation on FIFO basis?
