  1. Under what circumstances will a Picking List not print from a Sales Order. My picking list is just not printing despite setting the Printer Setup options properly. 2) How does the field Summary Update for in the others tab of Print Picking list/ Packing Slip or Invoice impact? Can someone please explain. 3) Can I undo or update a posted picking list/ packing slip or an invoice. If so…how do we accompish it.

  1. Make sure that you do not make use of the WMS module (see inventory modelgroup). If you do, printing a pickinglist from S.O. never results in a printed copy. 2) this is only usefull when you print multible orders all together. 3) Picking list → yes you can, just give a feedback of 0 qty. Packing slip → You cannot undo that, just add orderlines to correct that Invoice → see Packing slip

  1. The Output Order check box in Inventory Model Group is NOT selected. Despite this the Picking List is NOT being printed? 2) On Clubbing Orders, do you use the SELECT button to submit the order #'s that you want to club for the INVOICE ACCOUNT option from the drop down menu of SUMMARY UPDATE FOR field. From this same drop down menu SUMMARY UPDATE FOR there is one more option, ORDER, when you select this there is SALES ORDER field that pops up. So, how do enter the orders here because in this field you can enter only one 1 Sales Order #. Is the SELCT field applicable here. How does AUTOMATIC SUMMARY work. Can you please use an example here. 3) What you have suggested does work. Thanks for your answers and please help on the 2 remaining questions above.

1)Need more info on your version and exact error. Can you get it on screen? Can you print from any other application? is the Box “print pickinglist” on? etc 2) select 2 salesorders for the same customer. select Posting/confirmation. set the summary update field to ORDER and select one in the pop up field. confirm both orders. check for each individual order under inquiries the confirmation. You will see that axapta only has made a record for your selected order (your overview order). For more information, there is some helptext on that field. In parameters/ tab Summary update (rightclick / what’s This). I will advise you to set this parameter to none, otherwise you will get a nasty filter error (can explane this in dutch, can’t in english, sorry)

Thanks. All of my issues are now resolved. The picking list issues was experienced in a demo version. I tried on the latest with sp3 and it works like a champ. Highly appreciated sir. Have fun in NL. I was there in '99. Lived in Ede. Used to work for Baan then.
