Purpose of main warehouse

Hi,

anyone knows what is the purpose of defining a “Main warehouse” when you set up a new warehouse?

Here is the documentation page about Warehouses form (you should be open it directly by pressing F1 in the form). It explains that main warehouse is used in master planning and how it works.
