Purchase Orders and Currency Contracts

I was wondering if anyone is aware of a solution for creating a purchase order with a set currency exchange rate. The requirement is in regards to high volume purchase orders that always have an accompanying currency contract.

Base currency is USD. Purchase order is created for $100,000 EUR, and the bank says we’ll guarantee a 0.75 USD to EUR rate. Since it could take 6-10 months for the purchase order to be received, the spot rate could fluctuate significantly, however the currency contract rate is set.

Any ideas on how one might accomplish this is AX 2012 R2?

During the PO>Invoicing you can specify the exchange rate that is agreed.

PO>Invoice>Header view>Setup tab, select the “Fixed rate” check box and enter the contract currency rate.
