purchase order price should update on sales order

Hello,

I there a way when the UnitPrice is updated on the PO(purchaseorder),we want the costprice to change on sales order.I am thinking it’s not possible. Please let me know if there’s a possibility for this!!

There are number of things involved in Cost price calculation. If you want to over-ride these and just use the price on PO for SO then use the Marking functionality. Through this you can select a particular PO’s cost to incorporate on your SO.

If you batch or serial track this will flow from the purchase invoice to the COGS if you financially track inventory at this level in the dimension group. Otherwise this would not be relevant to your costing method which is a financial requirement and not necessarily stock movement. In addition if the item was direct delivery it would push the cost through marking anyway.
