Does the production scheduling impact the master planning? I mean if I run the production scheduling, do I need to run the master planning again to get the updated information?

They are related. If you move the scheduling of the order you have potentially altered all the related demand profiles so your “Master Plan” is incorrect, although your “Dynamic Plan” should reflect the change, not that I have ever checked that so you would need to do so, reschedule where you have a PO requirement, do you get an action message on the requirement? Issue here is you may not even have action messages turned on so the answer is not straightforward.
Yup. if you run the production scheduling, you need to run the master planning as well. They are interrelated.
