how will the FEEDBACK TAB–>JOB BUTTON under Production order be updated? I would like to enter an error quantity per operation on it. Will the error quantity on it be updated also on the production order quantity?

You mean Job button - Feedback Tab? When you report the job, usually from SFC.
Planning uses the estimated quantity, so if you start with 10 and reject 1 at step 1 then the system still believes you are making 10 not 9. You can enter the error quantity but it is really used for reporting, unless it is the last operation, then there is the warning on good quantity into stock being different from the last reported routing quantity.
