Can any one explain me the difference between receive,invoice , receive and invoice in production order creation card
Also what is the purpose of wharehouse receipt and inventory pick in functions of production order
and where do we use release and reopen
Receive - just receivs the goods in
Invoice - Invoices the received goods usually.
Receive and Invoice receives the goods and process the invoice.
This is obviously in a purchase order, not a production order.
Warehouse receipt and inventory pick function are for the businesses that have a more highly developed need of inventory control in the warehouse. The customer will make you aware of this through the analysis. Personnally I would say that if you have less than 500 warehouse locations you have no need due to the additional processing required, but there are lots of inputs and considerations for this. Talk to a WMS person.
