In Production Posting Setup, we specify the WIP for different Posting Group. But my customer wants to know WIP value at different production phases. For example, we have Raw Material, Part, Finished Goods. So I create 4 WIP accounts. So, production Posting Setup looks like following:

Item in Process
Picking list — Raw Material
Report as finished ----- Finished Good
Picking list offset account-------WIP
Reported as finished offset account----WIP

Costing
Issue ------ Raw Material
Issue offset account ----- WIP
Receipt ------- FG
Report Offeset account ----WIP

My client is using discrete manufacturing
Finished Goods is combination 6 semi finished Goods
Lets take e.g. of manufacturing of cycle
Semi FG

  1. Wheel ( BOM – Rim+tube+tyre)
  2. Chassis
  3. Handle
  4. Seat
  5. carrier stand
  6. accessories
    Create production order number 1 for Wheel
    GL entry for account as follows below
    Item in Process
    Picking list — Raw Material
    Report as finished ----- Wheel Semi finished Goods
    Picking list offset account-------WIP
    Reported as finished offset account----WIP

Costing
Issue ------ Raw Material
Issue offset account ----- WIP
Receipt ------- Wheel Semi finished Goods
Report Offset account ----WIP

So far, it’s fine.
Similarly all semi finished goods fine. But the only issue while making final finish Goods. Which account needs to map for raw material?

Finished Good Cycle
While making production order for Final Finished Good Cycle
I have to configure raw material account for FG cycle in above case my raw material for cycle is 6 semi finished goods but in AX there is only one field available to map raw material account.

Is any solution or explanation?
