Production created for BOM-1 (BOM -2; Item – 1; Item – 2) while updating the status from release to start (i.e to start the production) the following message is displayed –

– Posting - Route card journal

– ledger account does not exist

– Posting has been canceled

The status of production order doesn’t change to started.

You are automatically posting your routing - so how are you posting this in the parameters. You would need to look at elements like your work centre posting, item group production posting, costing sheet indirect costs etc. I am sure the message would have given you more information.
