Client is not able to retrieve data to do a mail merge through ODBC connection via Ms. Word version 2002 (10.2627.2625). Created a c/ODBC connection to attach to the Navision Test Database and also client data files. Tried to emulate the client situation by trying to pull the data into Ms Word version 2003 (11.5604.5606). The result was not successful as we received pop up warning as follows: “Unable to obtain list of tables from the data source”. We couldn’t obtain data through ODBC into Ms Word version We were able to link the table through Ms Access.
