Problem with adding fields in tables with Dynamics NAV 2013 R2

Hello,

I have a problem with adding fields in my tables with Dynamics NAV 2013 R2, the NST is installed on a distant workstation which is in the network but not in the same domain of my workstation.

I configured my RTC and dev environnement to connect to this workstation (I use SQLserver user to connect), all things work fine.

The problem is when I add a field in tables, I have the following error message :

The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel, cannot be used for communication because it is in the Faulted state

With old versions of NAVISION it works well, I was told me that Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 use NST to compile objects, so the user must be authenticated with Windows authentication !

Please do you have idea to do that from my workstation ?

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

In the tool option set your property of prevent data loss to no and then try.

Which build are you using?

This error claimed to be fixed in CU5 but, based on developers feedback, it was still occurring: I suggest to update to the most recent build (CU11) and try again.

Thank you for your response.

It works fine
