Have an odd issue with the printer return (NE) number and the printer selection table. The client has made a few changes to their network which required rebooting of the navision server. After rebooting the navision server, reports that were printed from a session on that server were constantly going to the default printer instead of the network printers. I determined the cause to be that the actual printer return numbers had changed from what they had been when I originally populated the printer selection table. That seems odd because we haven’t added or removed any printers from windows on that machine. Anyone have any ideas why the number would have changed?
As soon as You do a change in the printer setup in Windows the printers are sorted and renumbered. If You want to get rid of this You can download a fix for codeunit 1 from www.mibuso.com that takes care of the ne-numbers.
