While posting a purchase order which was entered a while ago but using current day as a posting date, we get errors as posting date is not within the range …
although the posting dates for the user is within the range of allowed posting date.
This happens to Purchase orders with inventory items.
Any ideas?
Hi, take a look at your General Ledger Setup page. There are two fields to look at: Allow Posting From and Allow Posting to. You may need to modify these entries. Also, look at User Setup page. There are two fields to look at for each user ID: Allow Posting From and Allow Posting to. You may need to modify these entries. The User Setup info takes precedence over the G/L Setup info. Hi, both the general ledger and user setup posting dates are within the posting date ranges.
it happens to only some purchase orders only, i guess something to do with inventory items but not sure?
any suggestions??
