I’m getting Customer Posting Group Code ‘’ does not exist error while posting a credit memo. Any ideas why?

Sounds like main link between sales ledger and trade debtors (posting group) does not exist for selected customer and therefore on the credit memo you created. Assign to customer and then refresh customer number on credit memo card.

It is possible that Nav did not refresh the credit note header details. If you have created lines on the header I would recreate the credit memo from scratch (do not use Copy Doc) and see if that resolves the issue.
