Post Sales Order : Posting Date must be completely preinvoiced before you can ship or invoice in the sales header document

Hello,

I cant seem to find the cause of this error message:

Posting Date must be completely preinvoiced before you can ship or invoice in the sales header document.

My client is posting sales order ship and invoice and hit this error. No prepyament at all.

Have you encountered this error?

Thanks for help in advance.

By the way client is using NAV version 5

I just want to share, this error occurs due to the allow posting from and to of the user.

the error is misleading.
