The system is suggesting an earlier PO then your prior PO. The Rescheduling works the other way. You will not get a rescheduling suggestion that moves the PO earlier in time, only later in time. For example, it would reschedule to 15/2/25 from 31/1/25, but not to 7/1/25, which would usually be a Cancel/New suggestion.

Since you didn’t get a Cancel/New suggestion, it would suggest a Planning Flexibility of None on your PO line, unless there is new demand since the original PO was created. Is the new suggestion addressing a new demand entered in the system?

P.S. Troubleshooting planning suggestions is best handled by a 1:1 session with your partner. Seeing all the data and being able to jump into the various supply/demand areas is key to resolving it quickly. I would encourage you to reach out to your partner of record to assist.
