Planning based on JOBs.

Hi, Has anybody come across the need to plan the Material based on the JOBs and their budgets? One of our clients are into project execution and they not only supply Equipments, they also provide resources for erection and commissiong of such equipments. Further, they would like to break the entire Project Execution Process into Phases, tasks and steps and also would like to track the progress and cost. As such, Jobs and Resources application areas have been considered, instead of a plain Sales Order. However, the planning has to be done for the main equipment through planning worksheet and using Job card as a base for providing the Demand for the Material. Has anybody worked on similar requirements and would please share his/her experience? Thanks in advance. Vijay.

Hi, We are also in the need of the same for one of our clients. However,I think there is no direct link between Jobs,Job Utilization and costing. I would be very vey happy if somebody proves me wrong and gives me the link :slight_smile:
