Hi Steven , I checked this topic … there is nothing inside else the questions… I read also the topics related to my questions …I could see many questions lke mine but not clear answer . i need program for automatic convertion to BMP. User should be able select JPG file from Navision and it will be converted this file to BMP and store it in the Navision. thanks in advance
OR If it’s possible to store jpg in Naviaion And importing directly jpg files to a picture form and picture BLOB field type. thank you
Yes - you can import .jpg file. Yes - you can export as .bmp file. The file is stored as datatyep BLOB - I really do not know if this differntiates between .bmp and .jpg. To do the conversion automatically you need (someone) to write some code - see the reference from Mr. Weaver.
yes, Navision can stored in data type BLOB, up to 2GB. But not recommended store in navision database, because it will cause performance issues. U can store the jpeg or bmp path in database. When u need it, just call the path. Thank you
Yes you can store any file type in a BLOB. This may have a performance drawback but then i gues storing JPG is better then storing BMP.
