Payroll database upgrade

I am working on an upgrade project, having US Payroll from serenic. Now following is the information from partnersource:### Upgrading databases with Payroll data

For upgrading Microsoft Dynamics NAV databases with Payroll data to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 SP1 you need special Payroll upgrade toolkit objects. You can obtain these objects from Serenic Corporation at www.serenic.com. Earlier versions of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV upgrade toolkits include special objects for upgrading Payroll data.

Does anyone have any prior experience of upgrading a database having this payroll and does Serenic provide the upgrade toolkit to any NSC for this upgrade?
