Hi,

Its heard that the new object type in NAV 2009 called Page, is to be designed using the classic client, inorder to be able to use in the role-tailored client.

Can you please explain why?

If it is so, how is it possible to import the Pages from classic to role-tailored client?

Role-tailored client cannot be used to design the Pages?

With the introduction of Pages, is it like the Forms will be completely replaced by the Pages?

Hi,

the classic client is still used for the development environement, that is why. The role tailored client (RTC) is simply a GUI for the end-user, not a development tool.

You do not have to “import” the pages into the RTC, this is handled by NAV.

Forms ar still there, but only used in the classic client.
