Pacific Business Consulting, Inc. (PBC) announces the release of Japanese, Chinese and Hong Kong Localizations for Microsoft Dynamics® NAV 2013, the latest version of the product and start selling them from May, 2013. Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a complete enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for mid-sized organizations with more than 25 year-history released in 1984. PBC’s localized versions will include functionalities to meet the local requirements and screen translations.
Major improvements have been made to Dynamics NAV 2013 in terms of the platform and the features. The Web Client and the SharePoint Client were newly adopted as the data access method. With the Web Client, you can access Dynamics NAV via web browser wherever you are and even can build a SharePoint site. In addition, there is a significant advancement in the system performance thanks to the additional function of background posting and the improvement in the architecture of storing data dimensions. Moreover, Dynamics NAV 2013 is announced that it will be the first Dynamics ERP which will run on Windows Azure. This means it will allow the use of cloud services offered by Microsoft.
The various functions to improve the usability in Dynamics NAV 2013 have also been enhanced. Specifically, the additional functions of Cost Accounting, Cash Flow Forecast, Timeline Visualization to view and analyze item availability, and Enhancement of Reporting/Charting capabilities are pointed here. The user-interface is much closer to Microsoft Office products by adopting the ribbon design which will bring users the operational efficiency. In addition, the integration of Dynamics NAV and Office 365 including Excel, Lync, One Note, Dynamics CRM, etc. is one of the key-features.
PBC will add several functions to Dynamics NAV 2013 to meet the local requirements of Japan, China and Hong Kong, as well as Security, Workflow and IFRS solutions. Moreover, PBC will prepare the features to enrich further usability and optional functions which are required in each business industry and category.
