Hi there
Suppose there is a production which produce 2000 products, as long as the production process going, the requirement probably will change, the client probably needs more, so we probably have to produce 5000 eventually, under this circumstance, do we have to create another production order for another 3000, or we change the original order from 2000 to 5000?
many thanks.
It would ultimately depend upon what you want to see, what the business process is and what you want to do.
Hi Adam
It’s too troublesome if we change the the original order i have already created, Since the production may already in-progress, re-set the status and re-scheduling the order may have conflict with the picking list that already posted. so from my point of view it’s proper to create another order instead of changing the existed.
But i’d like to hear your concerns.
Thanks.
It still depends upon the process and what you want to see. I have no issues with a separate order being created for the 3000. I have no issue with you completing 5000 against an order for 2000 if controlled properly
