I am looking for anyone who has experience in dealing with dual sourced product where sources are in multiple countries in AX and how they currently manage that (regardless of method)
We are currently looking for options to manage several dual sourced items in AX2012. Issues to overcome include identification of Country of Origin (VAS tags/export docs etc.), variation in costing, ability to manage both supply sources without manual manipulation of how they are allocated against sales orders (currently we have automated reservations/allocations) etc. We do not use any batch control and as only a small subset that will be coming from multiple sources would prefer not to use for entire system
