OPENING NEW DATABASE IN RTC

hi all,

i have installed trial version of navision in my office and the default database is opening in RTC, after that i have created new database using nav classic with ms sql server then restored the back of file in that and restarted navision again its opening in nav with sql server, then in CustomSettings i have changed the database name and when i am trying to open it in RTC its not opening, can u please help me out of this problem, i need information in step by step process, i am just go to wait for ur reply…

Is it throwing any error message? Did you try by Stopping the services and starting again?

What is the content of the backup that you restored? Did it contain multiple companies? And what about users? Any of these defined?

i just took back of default database and created new database with a new name and restored that back up file in the new database and i haven’t defined any user yet

Open Object designer

Click All from Left side options

Click Ctrl+A which selects all objects

You can select tools–>Compile or simply F11

As you said me to compile the all the object in object designer, i did what you said me to do, after compiling the all the object i’m getting some errors. please see the image below of error list after compiling all the objects.

Can you try now to connect RTC…

Because of the Menusuite error messages in your Compilation…
